It is beyond time to chill in 2014, amiright? Last year was such a whirlwind of awesomeness and craziness, I think it’s time for a nap. But first, I must thank all of you amazing people for the continued support, cheerleading, and all-around bad-assedness you have shown this girl with a gluten problem and a dream. Without you all, Gluten Is My Bitch: Rants, Recipes & Ridiculousness for the Gluten-Free would have never seen the light of day, nor sold as briskly as it has. (By the way, someone is selling a used copy “with a few markings” on Amazon right now for only $499.99. I swear, I can get you a new copy for much less. Don’t buy that one.)
I have the best readers, commentors, and randoms who just laugh when they see my book. Who knew so many people liked to curse when making gluten-free pie? You guys are the best, and I can’t thank you enough for your support.
So Wordpress does this thing at the end of every year where they tell you about your stats over the past year. One fun thing they did was give a shout-out to those of you who chat the most on this here site. I thought I’d give you an even bigger thank you for keeping the conversation going and making me feel like I’m not just posting this out into the ether for my own enjoyment. So these guys –
You RULE. Have a safe and happy gluten-free 2014, you awesome anti-gluten warriors. You’ve earned it.
XOXO
Wow, thanks so much for the shout out! And that frosty green drink looks great btw. Looking forward to lots more great recipes and irreverent writing in 2014.

I’d love to know more about that amazing cucumber concoction pictured above please. 🙂
Ha! It’s gin and something. I was at Umami Burger and they call it the Electric Martini. 😉 Delicious, and basically the only thing I can consume at Ummami.
Scrumptious! Gin happens to be my all time fave. As is cucumber cocktails! Do you believe in the distillation process eliminating gluten proteins or do you go for a gin derived from something like potatoes? I’m relatively new to completely cutting out gluten and haven’t made up mind — but have started researching gf gins & other spirits.
Awww! I just got a warm fuzzy. Many thanks for the props, and DFTBA in 2014.
Thanks for the shootout! The gluten free/celiac blogging community never ceases to amaze me with its support for one another! I hope you have an amazing 2014! I certainly plan to! 🙂
